When Lt. Governor Tim Murray spoke to the MLTA/MFOL Conference on Saturday, October 27, he told us that if we could mobilize the 66,000 members of Friends of Library groups in Massachusetts that we would have a very effective advocacy group. Even a small percentage of Friends willing to advocate for library funding at the state level would make a huge difference. I hope we can use this space to discuss ways to make that happen this year.
